US power markets, live
WattMarkets is a live instrument panel for US power markets. Real-time load and zone prices, day-ahead against real-time, grid conditions, and a daily peak call for every market where one hour of demand sets a year of charges. The forecasts carry public track records, graded against settlement data.

How forecasts are graded
Every call publishes by 10 AM market time with its inputs, chains into a public hash the moment it goes out, and gets its outcome from settlement data. Hits, misses, false alarms, and correct rejections stay on each market's own page. There is no blended number.
Why it's free
The record is young, and a graded season is the only sales pitch this product gets. The site is free while the seasons accumulate. The paid layer comes later, most likely the API and white-label alerts. The public ledger stays public either way.
Data and privacy
Everything comes from each ISO's public feeds, with grading against official settlement data. Sources are named on the methodology page. There is no dataset about subscriber curtailment behavior, and nothing here is for sale to third parties.
