About WattMarkets
WattMarkets is an independent Texas project. We forecast ERCOT 4CP peak days, publish the inputs behind every call, and grade ourselves against official settlements in public. Misses included.
Why it's free
A forecaster earns trust with receipts, and receipts take a season to collect. The public site is free while that track record builds. Later, the API and white-label alerts become the business. The ledger stays public forever either way.
What we will never do
- Edit or quietly rewrite a call after it's made. Every call is hashed into a chain the moment it publishes.
- Blur a miss. The scorecard grades every call against official settled intervals, and the misses stay on the page.
- Sell your curtailment behavior. Alert subscriptions exist to deliver the call, not to build a dataset about you.
